PROTEIN DIET OF DR. DUKAN

Pierre Dukan is French nutritionist, creator of two system to combat excess weight. He is the author of several books, in which he describes his methodology.

Dr. Dukan system is relatively simple. In strict compliance with gives fast and effective results. The diet is based on the reduced consumption of fats and carbohydrates and increases intake of vitally necessary for the body's proteins.

•    Dukan feeding regime consists of four phases:
•    Protein attack phase

The First Phase

This is the phase of pure protein. Lasts from 3 to 10 days, depending on the extra pounds. Approximate weight loss during this stage is from 2 to 6 pounds.
Scheme for calculating the duration:

•    10 kg – 3 days
•    From 10 to 20 kg 3 – 5 days
•    From 20 to 30 kg 5 – 7 days
•    Over 30 kg 5 – 10 days

During this phase allowed the consumption of products in 8 categories, without restrictions in time and quantity.

Second Phase

Third Phase

During this phase it is necessary to stabilize the weight and move gradually to a normal way of eating. The main goal is to regain the lost weight.
The duration of the third phase depends on the number of downloaded kilograms. For each kilogram add overthrown 10 days.

•    The vegetables of the second phase;
•    1 serving of fruit per day (without bananas, cherries and grapes);
